In short: Colorino does not collect any personal data. The app has no account, no ads, no tracking and no analytics, and all pictures stay on your device.

The Colorino app
No data collection
Colorino does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. The app does not connect to the internet and uses no accounts, no ads, no analytics or tracking services and no third-party components.
Your pictures
The pictures are stored only on your iPhone or iPad. We have no access to them. If you delete the app, the pictures are deleted too.
Sharing and Photos
Pictures leave the device only if you share them yourself or save them to the Photos app. Both are protected by a parental gate. To save, iOS asks once for permission to add pictures to Photos. Colorino cannot read your photos.
App Store
Colorino is distributed through Apple's App Store. When you download the app, Apple processes data under its own responsibility, see Apple's privacy policy. If you allowed sharing analytics with app developers in the iOS settings, Apple provides us with aggregated statistics and crash reports that are not linked to you.
Children
Colorino is made for children. Since no data is collected, no data from children is collected either.
This website
Hosting and server logs
The website runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in a data center in Germany. A contract for processing on behalf of the controller according to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner. Details: Hetzner privacy policy.
When a page is requested, the server logs the date and time, the page, the response status and the browser used, to keep the website running and secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). IP addresses are not stored. The logs are limited in size; older entries are overwritten continuously.
No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services. The font is served from this server, not from third parties.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, your email address, your message and, if given, your name are sent to my own server and from there as an email to my mailbox. No third party is involved. The message is not stored on the server.
To protect against spam, your IP address is kept for at most one hour, in memory only and not in plain text but as a hash value, to prevent too many messages in a short time. It is not logged and not stored permanently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact by email
If you write to me, by email or through the contact form, I use your email address and message only to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed for that.
The mailbox is on the same server at Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. The contract for processing on behalf with Hetzner covers it as well. To deliver emails and prevent misuse, the mail server logs the time, sender and recipient address and the IP address of the delivering server. These logs are deleted after 7 days (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, to data portability and to object. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
